I'm New Here

We know that coming to a new place can often feel intimidating. We want your experience at NECF to be warm and welcoming. Chances are, the first people you encounter will be our Greeting Team. They are the ones wearing a lanyard and a friendly smile. They are also available to answer any of your questions or find someone who can.

We invite you to come as you are and engage when you are ready. You can let us know by filling out a Connection Card (found on the OPPORTUNITIES Board in the foyer) or by chatting with one of our team. We want to make your next steps easy!

What is Sunday Service like?

We meet every Sunday at 10 am. We begin with worshipping God through singing together. We believe worship should be vibrant and expressive.

Then we take time to focus on prayer for current situations or to celebrate communion or to have a coffee and visit together. We then release our children to their classes.

Next you will hear a sermon that is biblical, inspirational and applicable to our daily lives. The service typically lasts about 90 minutes. At the end of the service, a ministry team is available for those who would like personal prayer.

If you need a Bible, we have one to give you.

Although we ask nothing of you, if you give, we are grateful and promise to put it to great use.

What should I wear?

Casual. Comfortable. Come as you are!

What about my kids?

We love and value children as part of today’s Church and tomorrow’s leaders. We have a supervised Nursery for those 2 years old and under, a Preschool class and a class for Grades 1 to 6. All of our children’s workers have been trained and screened.

When the kids are released to their classes, we ask that you check in those who will be attending the Nursery and Preschool classes, and check them out at the end of the service.

For nursing mothers, we have a Privacy Room for your convenience.
